  1. A Chronic Voice

Sheryl’s honest, no-nonsense writing style captivates you in, regardless of the first blog post you land on.  A Chronic Voice frequently publishes posts offering a little bit for everyone. Whether you are caregiver, chronic illness warrior or interested in general wellbeing it is filled with useful advice.  Topics covered include: mental health and physical illnesses.  Sheryl also hosts link up parties on her blogs which enable other chronic illness bloggers to engage with each other.

  1. Living with ME

Amy lets us into her highs and lows living with ME, PCOS, and is passionate about sharing beauty and health lifestyle tips. The blog has an aesthetically pleasing theme, focusing on high-quality photos that keep the reader engaged with the posts.  Amy also has set up a blogging community, Blogging in Bed, which lets other chronic illness bloggers share their stories on the Instagram page.

  1. PainPalsBlog

Claire is brilliant in the blogosphere and the real world, letting us into her life living with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. When Claire is not volunteering as a Chronic Pain advisor for Scope, she is updating her blog with a wealth of useful for resources for those suffering with chronic pain or chronic illness.

  1. What a Pain

Rachael is a true fighter turning her battle with chronic illness into a career. Once let go due to employment discrimination, Rachael now studies law.  My favourite posts on What a Pain are Rachel’s story of battling rheumatoid arthritis and domestic violence.  Rachael also shares vlogs on her YouTube channel from her experiences with doctors to her travels to New York.

  1. Laura’s Pen

Like me Laura, lives with multiple chronic illnesses but her blog mainly focuses on ME, Lyme disease, Fibromyalgia and Endometriosis.  Laura helps undiagnosed suffers also potentially identify their symptoms and useful life hacks to help those diagnosed with a lifelong illness.  Although, Laura does not blog as much as she would like, the hard work she puts into her touching posts is crystal clear.

  1. Sunshine and Spoons

Laura is just about an equivalent of a bendy superwoman, being a parent, operating a blog and an online shop.  Sunshine and Spoons predominantly focuses on Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. However, the merchandise her shop sells has a wide and deep product assortment linking too many illnesses.

  1. Hell Bells and Mast Cells

An entertaining niche blog following Mast Cell Activation Disorder. This blog is full of laughs with a lot of personal stories following the progress of treatment from the blogger and memes can be found on the social media pages.

  1. One Tough Spoonie

Bianca gives us an insight into the physical and mental effects of living with Lupus and her resilience.  I love the unique content on One Tough Spoonie, from Bianca opening up about her marriage and communicating with others it is okay to feel mentally challenged and feel down at times but you will get through it.

  1. The Zebra Pit

Capricious has multiple chronic illnesses which although unfortunate gives her lots of good content to write about.  I like this chronic illness blog offers something different.
